As an intern at Bronxnet Community Television in 2014, Brianna spent most of her time within the studio, floating between various studio production positions but it wasn't until she became a senior intern that her passion for training and mentorship was ignited. As a senior intern, Brianna developed the unique duty of organizing and maintaining the student led production crews while training them in studio production fundamentals for the live and live to tape shows at the television station. From this, she later became the Studio Production Coordinator and Youth Media Internship Coordinator and worked to train over 100 students all while ensuring that each student achieved their personal, academic and production goals during their time at Bronxnet. After Bronxnet, Brianna went on to serve as a freelance production creative for a variety of non-profits, networks, independent production companies and individuals. In 2019, she developed and taught her first 8 week media education workshop series as an independent with the Rockland Dream Project where she trained middle school students in filmmaking and entrepreneurship. Shortly after, she was hired by WHEDco as an afterschool videography specialist in the South Bronx and it was here that she developed not only her own curriculums but a true love for developing and mentoring the future generations of media. Since then, Brianna has served as a teaching artist in programs across NYC and also trains privately within her own production company teaching production basics to aspiring creatives.
